Hello people. Today's blog deals with the Kingdom of God/Heaven and its existence in the world we live in today. After having a religious discussion with a friend of mine several years back we left with the idea that the Kingdom of God/Heaven was within.
Many times I have found myself asking the question was God's Kingdom on Earth going to be something we could see, touch, feel etc.; essentially was going to be a literal kingdom like the governments that exist today. After much thought on this issue I came to the conclusion that it would and that it was also figurative as well.
A while back I wrote down the phrase The Devil's Burden. I thought it might work for another blog title or something of that nature but thought also about what it meant. Lucifer was God's chief angel and architect of the world. At the time he was serving God he oversaw the creation of this world.
Somewhere along the way, he decided to end his servitude and start a rebellion against his Creator. Many say he was too proud to be God's servant anymore. It's my belief that at the time he was serving God he was Allah and that Allah is credited with being God or "Ruler" of this world. Allah is the "He that is in this world." that is mentioned in the Bible in the verse "He that is within me is greater than he that is in the world." -1 John 4:4. KJV
Being that he is the ruler of the world, Jesus, The Lamb of God, must overthrow him when he, Jesus, returns. When that is only God, The Father, knows. It is my belief he already has, with the coming of this millenium, and has already begun that work. The current events we are experiencing are testimony to me of Revelations and back up this belief.
I show these things not to scare anyone but to give hope to those of us who think "all is lost" and we can't find our way back. The Bible also says "with God all things are possible." -Matthew 19:26 KJV So there is hope that we can overcome Satan and the stumbling blocks placed in our way as we try to do good in the world.
Until next time, remember God loves you and so do I.
